Job Description

The primary responsibility is to provide steel solutions in long products, such as sections, beams, and sheet piles, sourced from mills to potential customers within your region. This involves:

  • Identifying potential inquiries and project opportunities where long steel products can be applied.
  • Collaborating with architects, structural design engineers, institutions, and companies to present our steel solutions for use in infrastructure, commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects.
  • Managing post-sales processes, including material delivery and resolving quality-related issues between customers and mills.
  • Generating inquiries for other long and flat steel products from mills, which may include billets, slabs, and hot rolled coils.
  • Organizing local seminars and training programs to promote steel solutions.
  • Coordinating daily tasks and market strategies with the Singapore office.
  • Reporting to the Vietnam Country Manager while providing an overview to the regional team.
  • Collecting data, information, and market insights on the products you are working with and sharing them with the region and partner mills to enhance market understanding.

Job Requirements:

  • Possession of an engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural disciplines.
  • Basic knowledge or work experience in designing with steel structures.
  • Established industry and professional contacts with structural steel fabrication companies, institutes, and engineers to facilitate further discussions.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Training and support in steel solutions will be provided by the mills.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in local or domestic markets.
