I. Job Title: Test Engineer
II. Year of experience: 4 years
III. Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, and non-functional (KPI driven) system testing on Linux-based embedded systems for the BSP and drivers
• Document and reporting with test results, any deviation with detailed logs, screen-shots, issue reproduction methods etc with initial analysis on the observation
• Conduct testing for software releases keeping track of quality
• Configure and maintain test environments & test specs, including hardware setups, OS configurations, and embedded boards

IV. Technical Skills:

• Experience in testing Embedded Linux platforms, - BSP and drivers
• Knowledge of Embedded Linux eco-system with knowledge in peripherals and their internal working
• Basic knowledge in shell scripting

V. Additional Skills:

• Exposure to networking protocols and analysis network-related issues.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, or custom scripting
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, and bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications

VI. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
