III. Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, and non-functional (KPI driven) system testing on Linux-based embedded systems for the BSP and drivers
- Document and reporting with test results, any deviation with detailed logs, screen-shots, issue reproduction methods etc with initial analysis on the observation
- Conduct testing for software releases keeping track of quality
- Configure and maintain test environments & test specs, including hardware setups, OS configurations, and embedded boards
- Experience in testing Embedded Linux platforms, - BSP and drivers
- Knowledge of Embedded Linux eco-system with knowledge in peripherals and their internal working
- Basic knowledge in shell scripting
- Exposure to networking protocols and analysis network-related issues.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, or custom scripting
- Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, and bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
- ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
