Key Responsibilities:
- Hire and train a PAN Vietnam Business Development team spread multiple locations.
- Proactively acquire Inventory to capitalize on the market opportunity and negotiate and finalize contracts with BO’s with an objective to drive revenue growth.
- Work closely with the product & Technology teams (both B2B and B2C) to identify and implement relevant product features and provide scalable solutions to both customers and BO’s.
- Work with data analytics and marketing teams to identify customer demand patterns and align the inventory plan accordingly.
- Track competitive landscape viz. GDS providers, OTA’s etc. and develop a strong understanding of the bus operations and ticketing ecosystem in the country.
- Conceptualize and launch specific “On ground” activations in partnership with BO’s to drive new user acquisitions growth.
- Drive NPS to influence retention and repeat purchase.
Key KPI’s – Operators Onboarded, Inventory availability, Seller engagement, GMV, NPS.
Educational Qualification: MBA
Years of Experience (Minimum & Maximum): 8+ yrs
What is the nature and scope of responsibilities the candidate should have handled?
- Atleast 5 years of experience with FMCG, Telecom or e commerce organizations handling Sales & marketing, Business development or vendor management roles.
- Fluent in both English and Vietnamese (Written & Spoken)
- Full time MBA. (Preferably from a Premier institute)
- Demonstrated ability to hire and build a supply/vendor management team. Candidate will be required to work as an IC till such a team is built. This may include on-boarding of the initial set of bus operators.
