Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities:
•    Manage, lead, and develop the quality assurance team by providing guidance, support to work on the right priorities towards defined targets and within defined frame.
•    Lead and guide the development and execution of quality programs including manage and implement QA/QC procedures according to the company and customers’ requirements.
•    Enhance supplier performance along with VP – Quality & Compliance and align with quality assurance managers in other production countries to lead the quality assurance team.
•    Promote a culture of continuous improvement and foster a culture of quality through cross-functional collaboration, ensuring quality requirements are integrated through product development and manufacturing processes.
•    Empower team members to thrive within well-aligned team, ensuring they can perform at their best.
•    Lead specific quality improvement project and initiatives
•    Manage the quality assurance team’s budget and allocate resources to meet quality objectives.
•    Provide risk assessment and identify difficulties from samples and provide constructive suggestions on garment production engineering.
•    Research and introduce any new related quality requirements / tools / technologies as needed to support the company, customers, and suppliers.
•    Regular vendor on-site visits for all production quality control, factory ethical program development and factory performance.
•    Report to the VP- Quality & Compliance on overall quality performance analysis and propose future strategies. 

Requirements:
•    Bachelor or higher degree preferably in Quality Management, Textile/Apparel engineering or related discipline
•    At least 15 years working experience in total quality management in which at least 5 years in managerial level handling significant volume of apparel business 
•    Possess solid experience and technical knowledge in apparel production
•    Strategic and willing to make constructive changes
•    Collaborative working style and a good team player 
•    Strong problem-solving skills
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and capable of building strong relationships with all counterparts
•    Excellent command of written and spoken English and native local language
•    Literate in Microsoft Office Applications
•    Travel to factories is required
