Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Closing:
  • Ensure accurate and timely month/year-end closing processes (group management reporting and local tax & statutory requirements).
  • Ensure the management reporting is well prepared and submitted to company based on requirement from management group and owner.

Budgeting: Drive Yearly budget for the company.

Financial control & Compliance gatekeeper:
  • Establish a strong control mechanism within the company to mitigate potential operational, tax and financial risks.
  • Ensure the business complies with legislative requirements related to Finance (statutory, reporting, tax, etc.).
  • Work closely with Legal to ensure the country is operating with the right level of compliance controls (not only related to financial risks).

People Management:
  • Lead teams to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment.
  • Coach, mentor and develop teams to enable career progression.
  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall vision and values of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance.
  • CPA or related accounting qualification certificate and knowledge of local accounting rules and tax regulations will be plus.
  • Degree holder with minimum 7 - 10 years in Accounting & Tax with the last 2 years being in a Leadership position with Direct Reports
  • Global / MNC Company experience in a regional set up or Big 4 or tax consulting firm
  • Tax knowledge is advancement.
  • Thorough practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of leading a team.
  • Experienced leading financial system implementations and upgrades.
  • Organizational ability to set targets and follow-up.
  • Strategic ability to analyse data and put in place clear goals and real action items to effect change.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully engage with all stakeholder groups
