On June 15 2022, Mr. Simon Matthews - Regional Manager of ManpowerGroup Vietnam, Thailand and Middle East and Mr. Andree Mangels – General Manager of ManpowerGroup Vietnam paid a courtesy visit to Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and had a cordial meeting with Mr. Le Van Thanh – Deputy Minister of MOLISA at the Ministry’s head office.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh highly appreciated ManpowerGroup Vietnam's cooperation with the Ministry and its departments, such as Department of Employment, Department of Industrial Relations and Wage, Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Department of International Cooperation, Institute of Labour Science and Social Affairs, etc. over the past 14 years. The cooperation was strongly demonstrated via researches, consulting and training activities in building and completing the labor market information; developing employment service models to connect vocational education institutions and employees with businesses; soft skills training for employees to improve competitiveness and capability in the context of Vietnam’s increasing and more comprehensive international integration
In response to Deputy Minister, Mr. Simon Matthews and Mr. Andree Mangels addressed ManpowerGroup Vietnam's upcoming activities in cooperation with MOLISA’s units and departments within the framework of the 5th MOU between ManpowerGroup Vietnam and MOLISA signed in November 2021. In addition to activities regarding draft amendments to the Employment Law, surveys and forecasts of the labour market, projects in support of the disadvantaged workers, ManpowerGroup Vietnam also wishes to deploy a training program to improve job interview skills for staffs at local Centers of Employment Services in 2022 and the following years.
Mr. Andree Mangels – General Manager of ManpowerGroup Vietnam started his leadership role at ManpowerGroup Vietnam from the beginning of June 2022. Besides more than 15 years of experience in the field of human resources and having held many positions - from recruitment consultant to senior manager at several global HR services firms, he is also a professional certified coach. Andree Mangels believes deeply in emotional intelligence (EQ) leadership and is passionate about building and developing winning teams, nurturing talent, and creating job satisfaction, thereby leading to superior business results.
