Purpose of the Job
HR Manager will take a lead in all people operation and development partner with management and people managers. As a HR leader, HR Manager will control of all human resources functions and responsibilities on a large and sizeable project and will act as a strategic and operational HR partner to the business & project management team. His/her role is to identify, analyze and anticipate HR needs to business/project in order to provide compliant, pragmatic and budget framed solutions in line with the business & project objectives and strategy.
This role performs a full spectrum and a variety of complex HR duties as HR Generalist on country level, including - administer assigned programs, advise managers & employees regarding policy & procedure, ensure appropriate and effective implementation and suggest the measures to improve operations and employee service.
What are my responsibilities?
Lead all people operations and initiatives in Vietnam
Partner closely with the business/project leaders and people managers to anticipate and execute people topic in all HR spectrum including talent acquisition, on-boarding & off-boarding, performance management, people development, talent program, learning, reward & discipline, HR data quality (HRIS), organization efficiency, employee service, etc.
Be a trusted advisor for all level of employees as lead by example
Ensure the statutory and internal policy & process to deploy with a high standard of compliance and integrity
Basic but profound understanding in payroll, tax, social security for local, non-local, expatriation management
Ensure the resourcing in project mobilization & demobilization activities in line with the business needs and effectively control the flow and smooth operation
Facilitate the managerial skills for people managers to ensure on-time and qualitative performance & people development discussion between people managers and employees
Able to mitigate and investigate the conflict and to provide the HR solution to the project/business
Demonstrate analytical capabilities and influencing with data-driven recommendations
Able to manage HR internal/external audit ensuring the ethical and compliant process in HR operations
Manage people cost & budget in line with project/ business affordability
Keep Employer Brand & marketing mindset in hiring, internship, people development procedure.
Have a sense on Diversity & Inclusion and initiate a new & creative idea to embed the company value in Vietnam organization
Able to sense the “pulse” on people & organization agenda to ensure the employee engagement
Capable to be internal trainer for all level of employees
Manage the employee services and administration
Work closely with HR management in China & East Asia Cluster, APAC Region, HQ
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Desired Knowledge / Experience
8-10 year experience as Human Resources Generalist in multinational company
HR experience in industrial, engineering, transportation industry will be a plus, but not mandatory
Strong knowledge in Vietnam Labor law and executional competency
Familiar with multinational company’s People Operation concept & process (recruitment, on-boarding & off-boarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, talent management, employee service, organization development)
Ability to work in matrix organization with a wide spectrum of stakeholders in local & region & global
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with people-oriented mindset
Articulate presentation skill to introduce/approach people program and to convince the stakeholders
Agile, Inclusive, Responsible
Trustful, Independent, professional, organized, challenging
Articulate and efficient reporting skill
Able to analyze with logical thinking to identify the issue and propose how to solve the problem in people and organization topic
English & Vietnamese must, French will be a plus
