- Finding new logistics partners, enhancing relations with current providers on the new shipment routes design and delivery.
- Quality control for local logistics service providers.
- Control over cost and freight rates; drafting target rates; preparation of expense base decrease plan.
- Keeping tables/reports with logistics related data updated.
- Product volumes allocation.
- Monitoring of outbound movements and keeping stock reports updated.
- Preparation of documents and data for pre-customs procedure: SWB, invoice, packing list, customs data.
- Monitoring outbound movements and updating stock reports.
- Checking local agents bills (including local logistics, warehouse, re-export) and sending them to invoice and finance teams for payment.
- Rate checking and confirmation if the mode/part not included in service contract with local agents.
- Warehouse stock/unload capacity and space preparing for coming volumes according to plan.
- Warehouse invoice registration in SAP.
- Approval of the warehousing invoices (volume approver) in SAP.
- Dealing with warehouse operators on the following:
- necessary conditions and services provided;
- deviations in warehouse processes;
- identification of areas for improvement;
- development of corrective actions.
- Participation in inventory management:
- preparation of data for the balance of products in SI warehouses;
- preparation of surveys;
- monitoring of compliance by the contractor with the inventory standard;
- preparing warehouses for inventory;
- coordination of warehouse and surveyors’ work.
- Analysis of inventory level and decision-making on the prioritization of containers for unloading at the warehouse.
- Regular technical audit of providers.
- Control of timely receipt of material to warehouses.
- Control over the execution of shipments of material from warehouses.
- Logistics claim management.
- Process optimization, problem solving.
- Communication with internal customers/finance/invoicing/customer client service/operational logistics etc teams.
- Professional experience in logistics/trading company – at least 2-3 years; preferably in a multinational company.
- Sea/rail shipment logistics and warehousing knowledge.
- Basic understanding of corporate procedures.
- Languages: English - fluent, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian - as advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under high pressure.
- Software: SAP, Excel
