Key Responsibilities:

  1. Loan Portfolio Management:

    • Develop and execute strategies to grow the personal loan portfolio while maintaining quality lending standards.
    • Monitor and analyze loan performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize the portfolio.
  2. Loan Origination:

    • Lead the loan origination process, including application intake, credit analysis, and approval or denial decisions.
    • Ensure that loan applications are processed efficiently and in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  3. Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of loan officers.
    • Set performance targets and provide coaching and feedback to team members to achieve lending goals.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  4. Customer Service:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to loan applicants, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the loan application process.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Stay up-to-date with lending regulations and ensure all lending activities comply with local, state, and federal laws.
    • Implement risk management strategies to minimize loan defaults.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Generate regular reports on loan portfolio performance, loan application volumes, and other relevant metrics.
    • Use data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in personal lending, with at least [X] years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal lending products and lending regulations.
