Position: Senior HR Specialist

Company brief: Our Client, a leading service provider in Vietnam's oil and gas industry, is looking for Senior HR Specialist for their business in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment:
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall strategy of the company. Review and propose optimal solutions in recruitment and human resource management.
• Build and execute employer branding activities through events, communications, and internal engagement to attract candidates and enhance the company’s brand value.
• Establish relationships with universities and organize industry-related seminars to expand the candidate pool.
• Ensure sufficient and timely recruitment according to planned and ad-hoc requests from the Board of Directors. Coordinate with departments to execute recruitment plans and candidate selection.
• Forecast, assess, and minimize risks in recruitment and human resource management.
2. Training and Human Resource Development:
• Develop and design training programs: Analyze periodic or project-based training needs to build and update training programs in line with technical requirements, safety standards, and oil & gas industry characteristics.
• Organize and coordinate training: Plan and directly conduct training sessions, workshops, and internal knowledge-sharing activities, ensuring standardized processes, materials, and training methods to maximize learning effectiveness.
• Evaluate and improve training programs: Monitor and measure post-training effectiveness, propose program improvements based on participant feedback and human resource development goals.
• Propose competency development strategies: Collaborate with departments to identify core competencies and suggest initiatives to improve workforce quality, aligned with the company’s development direction and industry dynamics.
• Manage training data and records: Ensure complete and up-to-date training documentation for internal audits and employee competency evaluations.
3. Human Resource Management:
• Coordinate in building a corporate culture aligned with the company's vision, mission, and core values.
• Propose HR policies that optimize costs and operational efficiency.
• Provide appropriate HR management solutions that align with the company's long-term development strategy in the volatile oil and gas industry.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Job Requirements:
• Graduated with a university degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
• Candidates with a second degree in engineering or advanced certifications in human resource management are preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior HR management position, focusing on recruitment, training, and HR management for companies or corporations in manufacturing, construction, recruitment & manpower services, or the oil and gas service sector.
• Proficient in using modern recruitment tools and methods, including interviews, competency assessments, and online recruitment techniques.
• Experience in building recruitment strategies and developing a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Experienced in recruiting and training for highly technical or managerial positions.
• Possesses a strong recruitment network and candidate database, with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Solid knowledge of safety standards and technical requirements in the oil and gas industry.
• Skilled in designing training programs, organizing training events, and delivering effective internal training sessions.
• Experienced in assessing training needs, developing HR training programs, and evaluating training effectiveness.
• Capable of working with other departments to identify training and development needs for employees across the organization.
