Company overview: A global leader in construction and project management, known for delivering end-to-end engineering solutions, including feasibility analysis, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, is looking for a Junior Business Development Manager to their operations in Vietnam.
Position Overview: The Junior Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing water/wastewater project opportunities in both municipal and industrial sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of PPP (Public-Private Partnership) law and investment structures, particularly in Vietnam, as well as experience in the development and management of industrial parks. The selected candidate will lead the entire project development process and establish strong networks with key stakeholders, including government officials and business partners.
Main Responsibilities
  • Gain and apply in-depth knowledge of Vietnam’s PPP law and financing structures for investment projects.
  • Search for new water and wastewater project opportunities in municipal and industrial areas.
  • Manage and lead all aspects of project development, including contract negotiations.
  • Utilize licensing and authorization experience to streamline processes within industrial parks.
  • Build and expand networks with government officials, partners, subcontractors, and consultancy firms.
  • Manage and provide input on Pre-Feasibility Study (Pre F/S) and Feasibility Study (F/S) documents.
  • Support communication and coordination between managers, local teams, government authorities, and institutions.
  • Organize and plan meetings and trips, as well as take detailed minutes for project records.
  • Be available for business trips when necessary.
Experienced Requirements
  • University graduate in Engineering, Business, Finance, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Architecture, or related fields (with a focus on water and infrastructure).
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High sense of responsibility, accountability, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
