1. Sales: Responsible for implementing sales planning, customers finding and approaching and wood products selling. Concurrently, maintain relationships with customers to achieve the set sale targets.
2. Procurement: Responsible for implementing procurement planning, suppliers searching and wood products buying. Concurrently, manage suppliers and procurement contracts to optimize costs and achieve the highest profit.
3. Make sale plans for the assigned products according to monthly sales targets.
4. Find, approach and explore customer needs. Introduce, consult, offer and close deal with customers.
5. Communicate with customers and provide information for relevant teams to make contracts and appendices. Send contracts and appendices to customers and collect confirmed contracts and appendices from them.
6. Follow up and update the status of incoming goods for customers.
7. Participate in following up and inform customers about their payment terms to ensure collecting debt fully and timely.
8. Take care and visit customers. Monitor the status of product usage and provide technical advice for customers.
9. Collect, summarize and analyze latest market and customer movement frequently.
10. Expand the market and potential customers.
11. Participate with QC team for quality issues when needed.
12. Participate in the complaints solving process such as: collecting evidence, making reports, consulting with superiors and related teams, discussing and negotiating with customers, ...
13. Make assigned reports, including: sales reports, ...
14. Collect, summarize and analyze information from several sources, including: demand from customers (e.g. price, product type, product standard, delivery time...); safe inventory.
15. Decide on the type, quantity, price, delivery time... of procured products while considering the inventory situation and customer needs.
16. Offer, negotiate and close deals with suppliers.
17. Communicate with suppliers and provide information to relevant teams to make contracts and appendices.
18. Monitor the importing, loading and unloading goods status. Find the available warehouse before the goods arrive (when needed).
19. Provide procurement information for Sales teams so they can conduct sales activities.
20. Take care, visit and maintain good relationships with suppliers. Monitor and forecast the supply capacity of suppliers in the future.
21. Evaluate and select suitable new suppliers.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate from College or higher.
- From 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar position in wood industry.
- In-depth knowledge of wood industry, area culture, principles of negotiations.
- Solid knowledge on buying techniques, sales, source finding as well as the ability to read the market (e.g. latest information, market trends,...)
- Ability to cooperate, communicate and negotiate with others.
- Ability to use English in verbal and written forms, priority for the candidate who is fluent in 2 or more languages.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite proficiently.
- Ability to collect, summarize and analyze data.
- Ability to solve problems arising in sales & procurement.
- Ability to work in a team independently, and under pressure.
- Honest, detailed-oriented, eager to learn and have high sense of responsibility.
