Position: FF Activity Support Expert
Reporting To: FF Section Manager

Requirements
Educational Level: University Graduated or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Engineering or Firefighting or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Min 15 year experience in Oil Refinery/ Petrochemical Plant/ Firefighting or equivalent
Skills/Abilities:
- Experience required minimum 10 years in Firefighting Operation in Oil Refinery/ Petrochemical Plant or equivalent.
- Strong decision making abilities under pressure and innovative to generate new ideas.
- Specialized skills in Firefighting management and activities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to teach skills to freshmen and exhibit patience.
- Hands on experience in refinery commissioning is desired
- Capable of delivering results in a diverse, ever changing environment
- Strong facilitation, listening and conflict resolution skills
- Good communication in English (IELTS 6.0 or above)
Purpose
The purpose of the FF Activity support expert is to support FF Section Manager in Firefighting activities. They will work with FF outsourcing shift members, train FF outsourcing team and advise FF Leader or FF Shift Supervisors etc.
Responsibility
- Assist FF Leader or FF Shift Supervisors etc. and make suggestions to ensure firefighting activities.
- Lead/ advise FF outsourcing team for firefighting in refinery plants.
- Train personnel on firefighting.
- Play role of Fire Safety Officer during firefighting operation.
- Conduct of Safety Audits from firefighting point of view.
- Attend regular daily planning meetings. Follow up on actions and driving of schedule deliverables.
- Understand all firefighting related international standards and works to identify any actions which may produce a violation of those standards.
- Support the FF Section Manager in oversight of startup means and methods from firefighting point of view.
- Planning & execution of FF exercises in each unit based on Firefighting Plans during Commissioning & Initial SU & Operation.
Accountability, Duty
- Support FF Section Manager to ensure the firefighting activities at the site and execution of FF activities to meet the schedule.
