RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Design Development & Implementation

3D Design in Vehicle level wiring harness packaging
Routing Quality checking for wiring harness design
Checking of Electrical aggregates (fouling etc.) in DMU to final sign off.
Preparing the Info. Fitment Drawing of Electrical components & Wiring Harness.
Solutions for the DFA & DFM and Vehicle level issues.
Control Prints and other technical documentation
Support design related activities/ built support at Customer location.
Defining of electrical components.
Ensure correct pilot build up (first piece)
Evaluate and perform engineering judgement for Engineering Permit
Define the validation plan as customer requirement
Maintain and grow customer relations
Train technicians
Provide design leadership to ensure that all customer deliverables are met, while assuring accuracy and completeness of all design output

2. Lead, Coordinate & Support on QVC actvities

3. Support New Business Quotation

Prepare related design document to support new project quotation
Work with other departments to react on each new project needs and related cost to support new project quotations.
Support RFQ and customers presentations

REQUIREMENT

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university
At least 5 year experiences in automotive industry, especially automotive electrical system and wiring harness design.
Excellent in computer CAD design CATIA V5R26 (Mandatory), UG 11.0 (Optional) and hands on experience for CHS (Capital Harness XC) will be advantage.
Basic knowledge of designing brackets and channels
Basic knowledge of harness related components and passenger car system.
Excellent communication skill - fluent in English both oral and written
Strong sense of responsibility and discipline.
Having a good personality, leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent in problem solving skills

3D Designer
