We are looking for an energetic Automation Service Engineer to drive our service business growth in Vietnam. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing customer performance by delivering top-notch automation services. This position is based in Ho Chi Minh City and involves occasional travel throughout Vietnam, Thailand, and other Southeast Asian countries. You will work closely with our customers to enhance system reliability and add value to our business through expert technical support and training.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical Services: Provide maintenance and troubleshooting for the existing installed base of automation systems. Deliver on-call support as part of your regular duties.
- Project Participation: Assist in project implementation including installation supervision, commissioning, start-up, and comprehensive documentation.
- Customer Training: Prepare and conduct training sessions to help customers effectively utilize our automation solutions.
- Sales Support: Support service sales initiatives to help achieve annual budgetary targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Automation & IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with industrial automation systems as Distributed Control System (DCS) and Quality Control Systems (QCS).
- Experience in pulp and paper manufacturing processes.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Proactive, results-oriented team player.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Valid driver’s license (car ownership is a plus).
