Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:
Responsible in engineering works such as review or generate of engineering documents, Scope of Work, structural design works and other related engineering works to NSRP projects such as upgrade, modification, extension projects and MOC’s.
▪ Provide engineering resolution to maintenance and projects on Civil and Structural works.
▪ Develop and generate project Scope of Work & engineering drawings in civil part, and other project baseline documents.
▪ Assist and develop NSRP standards, workflows, and procedures with cooperation with other
section/division and other processes according to NSRP management manual.
▪ Review and approve appropriate work schedules/ civil method statement for contractors and NSRP staff and plan daily work assignments.
▪ Manage Contractor in site to oversee the construction activities in plant projects and provide immediate
solution in the event there is a change in design as per actual site condition.
▪ Support Senior Civil Engineer and Civil Engineering Leader in on matter related to Civil Asset Integrity Management Program.
▪ Dedication to maintaining safe operations enforcing strict conformance with all government regulations
and applicable company procedures and policies.
▪ Fully comply with NSRP regulations in Health, Safety and Environment Management.
▪ Performs other tasks as may be required.
▪ Maintain the integrity of Refinery Civil Assets, Steel and Concrete Structures
▪ Maintain safe and stable work project execution and operation.
▪ Increase quality and production efficiency while decreasing risk and safety incidents.
Specific subjects and each numerical goal will be defined every year.

Requirements:
Capability to assume the role of site Civil Technical Authority for site.
▪ Can work independently for both routine and non-routine tasks.
▪ Ability to mentor junior engineers and/or control contractor team <5 men.
▪ Ability to plan own work functions and supervise Junior Engineers and
small contractor teams.
▪ Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not
limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and
visitors.
▪ Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and
national codes and guidelines.
▪ Good knowledge of National and international codes/standards such as
TCVN ACI, AISC, ASCE & BS EN.
▪ Good knowledge in performing calculations for foundations, concrete, and
steel structures (structural) design.
▪ Good knowledge in Construction Material review and providing engineering
resolution to Construction.
▪ Good knowledge of refractory work
▪ Good knowledge of STADDPRO or Equivalent software.
▪ Good knowledge of AUTOCAD drafting software.
▪ Good knowledge in report writing, preparing presentation and meeting
content.
▪ Good knowledge in Microsoft applications includes Word, Excel, and
Outlook
