Key Responsibilities

Data Integration Development & Maintenance

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines to meet business and technical requirements, ensuring data quality and security.

• Build and manage cloud-based infrastructure (Azure) to support scalable, reliable data flows and enhance the ELT framework.

• Identify and implement process improvements through automation, data delivery optimization, and infrastructure redesign.

• Apply security controls to protect sensitive data throughout project and production phases.

Reference & Master Data

• Maintain master and reference data and supporting documentation.

• Contribute to data governance initiatives and process improvements.

Reporting & Analytics

• Support the development, optimization, and debugging of reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI).

• Validate data pipelines against business requirements to ensure reliable reporting.

• Develop analytics tools to deliver insights on business performance, operational efficiency, and investment activities.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.

• Partner with business stakeholders to resolve data-related issues and support infrastructure needs.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Competencies

• Strong SQL querying skills; familiarity with relational databases. Exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) is a plus.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C#, etc.).

• Basic understanding of version control systems (Git) and interest in CI/CD processes (Azure DevOps or similar).

• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and BI/reporting tools like Power BI.

• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with experience in data analysis, system integration, or process optimization.

Interpersonal & Soft Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; open to feedback and collaborative discussions.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Committed to continuous personal and technical development.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analysis, or software development.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to data governance or data security practices.

• Have experience in Finance/Banking is a plus

• Experience with other BI tools, basic data modeling, or automation projects.

• Familiarity working with external data providers like Bloomberg or Reuters.
