Overview:
Company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy General Director, Operator to oversee and manage the operational and strategic activities of our luxury hotel and resort business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations, finance, human resource management, and investment, with a strong background in multinational or large-scale organizations. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations, operational excellence, and profitability for our hotel and resort properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall operations of Hotel & Resort, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction across all departments.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, profitability, and guest experiences while ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and long-term goals.
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, cost control, revenue generation, and performance analysis, to ensure optimal financial outcomes for the hotel and resort.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing investment, business operations, and hospitality industry standards.
- Implement best practices in human resource management, including talent acquisition, development, training, and retention, to create a motivated and high-performing team.
- Lead and supervise large-scale projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and in line with organizational objectives.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in service standards, operational procedures, and risk management across all hotel and resort properties.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, business partners, and customers to enhance brand reputation and promote future growth opportunities.
- Provide leadership in corporate governance, corporate communications, and crisis management to maintain a high level of operational stability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or other related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in senior executive roles with demonstrated leadership in operational management, especially in a global operator context (experience as MD, GM is preferred).
- Deep understanding of financial management, investment regulations, and legal frameworks governing business and investments.
- In-depth knowledge of human resource management and employee development strategies.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute long-term operational plans.
- Excellent public speaking, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships at all levels.
- Proficient in forecasting, risk management, and leading organizational change effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to observe, analyze, and resolve problems and conflicts efficiently.
- Proven track record in setting objectives, organizing, leading, controlling, and developing teams to drive high performance.
- Strong command of English language skills.
