DevOps Engineer

About The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work collaboratively with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Cloud Architecture, and Quality Assurance teams to automate, deploy. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, comfortable with taking ownership of issues and solutions, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment to deliver customer results. Key activities include the analysis of software components, networking, hardware requirements, version control architecture, and delivery processes to enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes.

Responsibilities
• Serve as a key member of the DevOps team to optimize process delivery for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, Data Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to support a data-driven culture.
• Document designs, decisions, architectures, and issues to facilitate future troubleshooting and scaling of the Cloud Architecture and DevOps teams.
• Stay informed on DevOps industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience with AWS and application or infrastructure architecture.
• Expertise in containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS Fargate services.
• Proficiency with AWS services such as CloudFormation, RDS, Redis, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, IAM, and ELB.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across multiple environments.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD in AWS.
• Familiarity with container and virtualization architectures, automated test tools, and multi-host container networking.
• Experience with Java-based test automation applications such as Playwright and Postman.
• Experience with APM and tracing platforms like Datadog is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud networking, including VPC API Virtual Gateways, App Mesh, API Gateway, CloudFront, VPN, Subnets, Security Groups, CloudTrail, and Transit Gateway configurations.
• Fundamental knowledge of Data Lakehouse architectures with a focus on Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, and Business Intelligence technologies is preferred.
• AWS Developer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language is highly preferred.
