Position: Director of Interior Design
Industry: Real Estate Development
Report to: Chief Design Officer / Deputy CEO / CEO

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall interior design strategy and direction for all residential, commercial, and hospitality projects within the company's portfolio.

• Develop design concepts aligned with brand positioning, project vision, and target market, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and cost-efficiency.

• Work closely with internal teams (Architecture, Project Development, Sales & Marketing, Procurement) and external consultants to oversee the design development process from concept to execution.

• Review and approve design packages, material selections, mock-ups, and shop drawings.

• Supervise design quality, timelines, and budget adherence across all design phases.

• Coordinate with construction and fit-out teams to ensure interior design execution meets intended standards and vision.

• Stay updated with market trends, materials, design innovations, and sustainable practices to enhance product competitiveness.

• Build and maintain a strong network of vendors, consultants, and strategic partners in the interior design and fit-out industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years in the same role (Director of Interior Design) at a real estate developer.

• Proven track record in leading high-end residential, mixed-use, or hospitality developments.

• Strong design sensibility and technical understanding of fit-out processes and materials.

• Excellent leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English and Vietnamese (or applicable languages).

Preferred:

• Experience with branded residence or luxury developments.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED, LOTUS) is a plus.
