Location Bien Hoa, Dong Nai

Position Purpose: Provide the necessary engineering expertise in Factory Automation Systems (FAS) infrastructure and Process Control Systems to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Define, propose, and monitor the objectives and plans of the Electrical and Automation (E&A) team in alignment with the Engineering Policy, Key Principles, and the Electricity & Automation – Manufacturing Execution System (E&A – MES) guidelines.

Facilitate the adoption and integration of new technologies in collaboration with local, market, central technical teams, and PTC engineering.

Propose and manage the Electrical/Automation and MES components of the site’s M&I budget, along with any capital projects.

Ensure the safe and secure operation of spray drying installations and any other equipment prone to dust explosions.

Oversee the maintenance of electrical and automation equipment, following the Maintenance Strategy and using Consequence Driven Maintenance (CDM) for proactive management and improvement of fixed assets. Apply Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) to manage the asset lifecycle.

Manage electrical and automation documents (manuals, diagrams, instrument data sheets, software licenses) through organized filing and archiving systems.

Ensure the team's technical and behavioral competence aligns with the requirements to achieve its goals and objectives.

Lead and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) in automation and electricity supply/distribution by coordinating with Production, Quality Management, and Engineering teams to resolve electrical and automation challenges.

Ensure all automation, instrumentation, and electrical systems comply with company’s standards and legal requirements.

Safeguard the confidentiality of all process-related controls and documents.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Automation or a related field.

English: Intermediate proficiency.

Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency, particularly in PLC programming.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within food manufacturing or the consumer goods industry (e.g., M&I or E&A/MES Engineer, or similar positions).

Supervisory Experience: Experience leading technical teams, including mechanical and electrical contractors, suppliers, or other third parties.
