The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations. This role ensures efficient production processes, maintains quality standards, manages production staff, and implements continuous improvement initiatives to meet company goals related to safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Additionally, candidate should have experience working with major clients in ODM, EOM, or EMS sectors, collaborating closely with departments such as FAE, TPM, IE, MAE, and PE to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Production Management: Plan, organize, and control manufacturing processes to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through continuous monitoring and improvement.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Customer Collaboration: Work directly with major customers in ODM/EOM/EMS projects, understanding their specifications, and ensuring the manufacturing team aligns with customer expectations and requirements.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with departments such as FAE, TPM, IE, MAE, PE to resolve technical issues, improve processes, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and develop the manufacturing team. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inventory Control: Oversee raw material and finished product inventories to minimize losses and meet production plans.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control manufacturing costs, manage budgets, and report on financial performance.
- Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance and servicing of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and breakdowns.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on production metrics, issues, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for process excellence and customer satisfaction in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in manufacturing management, preferably within ODM/EOM/EMS sectors.
- Experience working directly with large clients and cross-functional teams such as FAE, TPM, IE, MAE, PE.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software systems (ERP, MES, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Experience working in a electronics factory setting related industries.
- Proficiency of English (Mandarin is a plus)
