• Meeting with your Product Owners, Project Managers, and Engineering:

  • Produce end-to-end architectures that align with the Technology Roadmap.

• Producing options analysis and providing recommendations:

  • Conduct research into a COT’s product, the best way to structure a microservice, or what Public Cloud services to use as part of your architecture.
  • Balance speed to value, cost, alignment to target state, data, and security requirements.

• Consultation with other architects within The Company:

  • Data Architects to understand data requirements and patterns.
  • Security Architects to understand security requirements and patterns.
  • Enterprise Architects to understand the target state.

• Skills

• Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills to help shape business and tech strategy.

• Experience

• 10+ years in Technology generally.
• 5+ years in Solution/Enterprise architecture.
• Experience driving end-to-end solutions in complex organizations with regulatory and legacy constraints.

• Highly Desirable

• Banking/financial services industry experience will be an advantage.
• Architecture or technology-related certifications/cloud will be an advantage.

• Understand the trade-offs involved in technology change while simultaneously delivering business benefits (e.g., choosing to use an off-target state platform as a tactical solution to meet regulatory requirements while the target state platform is being built).
