The Finance & Accounting Manager will lead the finance function, manage forecasting and budgeting processes, and oversee financial operations and cost control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance operations within multinational or energy-related companies and possess a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead the FP&A function, including monthly performance reviews, variance analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop, implement, and manage robust forecasting models to support business growth.
- Provide insights into key financial drivers and trends to influence decision-making.
- Drive the annual budgeting process, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct rolling forecasts to adapt to changing business environments.
- Ensure alignment of budget/forecast with business goals and market dynamics.
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards (e.g. IFRS).
- Coordinate with shared services and external auditors for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.
- Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, and treasury activities.
- Establish and monitor cost control systems, KPIs, and benchmarks.
- Analyze operational costs and identify savings opportunities.
- Partner with procurement and operations to optimize cost structures.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit processes and ensure internal controls are effectively implemented.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in finance & accounting, preferably in the energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience in multinational and matrixed environments is an advantage.
