*JOB OVERVIEW:
The IT Support maintains the computer networks of organization, providing technical support and ensuring the HCM team runs smoothly. IT Support monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems. Because of the nature of the job, some companies may require their IT Support to undertake shift work.
*RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the employee’s satisfaction.
Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation.
Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software.
Assist with onboarding of newcomers.
Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment.
Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software.
Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
Understand and acknowledgement Exchange and Office 365
IT skills including Microsoft Office Applications.
Experience with SharePoint Online, Sharepoint 2013, and SharePoint 2010, which includes administration and configuration.
Ability to provide SharePoint training to business power users.
*REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must have Bachelor Degree in relevant.
2 + years of relevant technical experience.
Strong network knowledge, experience in installing / configuring hardware & software.
Strong customer service skills.
Experience with firewalls, open-source software, Windows and Linux Servers, Active Directory, mail servers, antivirus, and data backups.
Able to work effectively within in a team or independently.
Must be able to perform under pressure and maintain deadlines.
Honest, hardworking, and good at communication.
Ready to provide support and work past regular office hours as necessary.
Good team worker, Self-motivated, proactive, but, at times, also able to work with minimum supervision.
