Manpower’s Client - a Vietnam Representative Office of a US-based company specializing in tailor-made furniture solutions for hospitality and commercial projects worldwide, is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Vietnam.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process projects from the head office, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Monitor projects throughout the entire cycle—from getting proposal from vendors to final delivery to customers—and address any post-delivery issues.
- Source and obtain supplier quotations to prepare project-specific pricing proposals for submission to the head office.
- Ensure timely delivery of products that meet quality expectations.
- Manage payment documentation and resolve any payment-related issues associated with projects.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to support smooth delivery operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality execution of all project-related tasks.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with relevant departments at headquarters to ensure alignment on order and delivery details.
- Provide suppliers with comprehensive information to ensure full understanding of product specifications, quality standards, and packaging requirements, including drop test standards.
- Regularly report on production progress and conduct on-site inspections at factories to verify production status.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality furniture industry, specifically for the U.S. market.
- Strong proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to factories to monitor production progress.
- Demonstrates a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Capable of working independently under high-pressure conditions.
- Flexible and adaptable, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Standard working schedule: Monday to Friday. Working on Saturdays may be required for peak season (around 6 months/year).
