Our client, who is a global supplier in Agriculture is looking for a Human Resources Manager. This position is to manage the HR activities of the subsidiary to achieve the goals set by the General Manager, in collaboration with the Regional Director of HR, in compliance with the guidelines and objectives of the HR policy of the business unit and the legal requirements of the country. 

Key duties:

1.1. Team Management

· Be responsible for the day-to-day activities and guidance of their team members.

· Ensure that all members understand the team’s objectives and work together to achieve it.

· Allocate, coordinate, accompany, control and monitor tasks of the HR team

· Transmit of all the necessary information to the team for the accomplishment of the daily tasks

· Ensure and develop the performance of the staff is of a high standard

· Set targets, implement guidelines, and assist with any issues in the HR team

· Discuss and resolve problems

· Carry out performance reviews

· Foster a cohesive and collaborative environment in the team

· Be responsible for the accuracy and quality of the data from the team

 

1.2 Recruitment & Onboarding

· In collaboration with the heads of departments, implement recruitment process to address current capabilities and future recruitment needs,

· Plan recruitment needs on short, medium and long term for the subsidiary in collaboration with the General Management and the heads of all departments.

· Accompany and coordinate the recruitments with the team

· Collaborate with local stakeholders to maintain a continuous pool of potential candidates.

· Develop a partnership with external HR service companies to support recruitment processes for new hires and follow-up of temporary contracts

· Coordinate the recruitment process starting from interview setting all the way to the communication on the decisions made on the recruitment.

· Coordinate new hire paperwork with appropriate external partners on social security and other benefits

· Collaborate with management to build an attractive and fair compensation package

· Responsible of the onboarding of new employees

· Responsible for work permit and visa applications for foreign employees.

1.3 People Development and Employee Relations

· Responsible for the execution of the annual appraisal campaign according to the HR policy; support management teams in annual appraisal process, provide metrics and feedback to HR management on appraisal campaign.

· Develop strong working relationships with executives, management and staff; providing advice, guidance, and coaching as needed

· Be responsible and coordinate all disciplinary actions with the HR team in collaboration with the General Manager

1.4 Compensation & Benefits

· Manage salary planning process to drive the pay for performance and market competitiveness to motivate and retain key talent and high performer.

· Review and implement competitive compensation & benefits scheme to ensure cost effectiveness and align with market practice

· Promotion and Transfer to ensure the internal equity and external competitiveness

· Participate and analyze market survey to develop the reward strategy

· Review & update HR Policy to align with the changing on the regulation and market practices

· Be the focal contact with the managers and employees for any questions or complaints relative to the payroll.

1.5 Training

· In collaboration with the heads of departments, implement training process and development initiatives to address current capabilities and future training needs,

· Propose training initiatives, according to legal requirements, budgets and the HR policy of the BU

· Analyze the results and outcomes of training such as, but not only: feedback received after trainings, training needs in annual appraisals.

1.6 Safety and Risk Prevention

• Coordination of the Local Safety Committee meetings to elaborate the annual prevention plan for the country.

• Coordinate assistance in the event of an accident, perform the accident investigation in collaboration with the supervisors of the victim, and send the communications respecting the deadlines and the local legal requirements.

• Actively collaborate in the preparation of the documentation requested by the Regional Safety committee and provide full support to fill the gaps that are identified.

• Ensures all required safety trainings are conducted in a timely manner.

• Serves as liaison in communicating employee safety needs and concerns to management.

• Perform other safety assignments or projects as assigned.

1.7 Project Development

• Work closely with the HR regional team, HR team and General Manager to develop HR projects.

• Be responsible of the execution and coordination of the HR projects in Vietnam

1.8 HRIS

• Deploy, implement, and continuously improve HRIS to advance HR operational efficiency

• Leverage HRIS to drive data-based HR decisions and strategies

1.9 Maintain Positive Company Culture

• Works closely with management and employees to improve relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention

• Responsible for regular (monthly/quarterly/yearly) social events among the employees to maintain positive work relationships and sense of belonging
 

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

• 8-10 years of experience

• Proficient in spoken and written English

• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong leadership, influencing, and problem solving skill.
