- Responsible for managing the Logistic department inclusive of the Warehouse full operations; the import/export of fabrics, accessories and ready garments; full quality control inclusive of received raw materials; Supply chain and orders packing and distribution to sub-contractors and follow up on raw materials purchases with suppliers
- Prepare budget for Logistics department and control all relevant costs within the approved budget.
- Responsible for the overall planning of all related activities, day-to-day operations of the warehouse, shipments, and other logistical tasks
- Responsible for liaising with customs, other relevant authorities, the logistics, planning, Shipping and procurement staff of Mascot International A/S.
- Manage shipments through all ports of entry, working with customs brokers, freight forwarders and other third-party providers
- Monitor all inventory level reports to ensure high fill rate, bin location utilization and timely shipments Assessing department's operations and procedures, formulating policy, developing, and implementing new
- strategies and procedures in accordance with company's standard policy.
- Execute exceptional time management scheme, execute, prioritize, and process multiple tasks as required.
- Responsible for reviewing, checking, verifying, and approving shipping documents.
- Responsible for developing and preparing complex databases, frequent reports, and presentation material for the Managing Director
- Develop a comprehensive equipment and machinery calibration and maintenance plan in cooperation with Technical & Safety Manager. Monitor and execute the plan to ensure equipment and machinery safe usage and durability
- Elaborate a proper safety and fire protection plan, in collaboration with Company's Technical & Safety Manager.
- The plan must include systematic safety drills covering the entire Logistical facilities (explicitly: Warehouse, Logistics office, Laundry, and Laboratory facilities).
- Arrange comprehensive internal training programs and ensure it's frequent execution.
- Execute other tasks and duties as assigned by the Managing Director.
Qualification required:
- Have a bachelor's degree or master's degree in related field.
- At least 5 years of working experience as Logistics Manager.
- Knowledge in Import export techniques, Logistics, Warehouse operations, supply chain, and shipping management, and customer service background is also valuable
- Must have knowledge of Vietnam laws and regulations requirements related to company logistical operations (e.g.,
- Investment, Tax, Customs, Transportation, Laws)
- Good at English. Good command of computer Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability. Priority candidate who can start working ASAP
