Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and dedicated Human Resource Expert with over 20 years of experience in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry-specific HR practices, regulations, and challenges. This role involves leading HR initiatives, developing strategic HR programs, and ensuring the alignment of HR practices with the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor on HR-related issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Conduct investigations as needed and recommend appropriate solutions to resolve workplace disputes.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in legislation and proactively update HR policies and practices accordingly.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions. Provide guidance and advice on performance improvement techniques and career development opportunities
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.
- Align HR strategies with organizational goals to support business objectives and growth.
- Communicate effectively with management, employees, and external stakeholders on HR matters.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 20 years of experience in HR management within the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries.
· Certifications: Professional certifications such as SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), SHRM-SCP (SHRM Senior Certified Professional), or equivalent are highly desirable.
· Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical industries.
