1/ Job responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise periodic maintenance (PM), breakdown maintenance, and major shutdown/turnaround maintenance activities.

  • Analyze root causes of mechanical equipment failures and propose technical improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

  • Supervise the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and the modification of existing systems.

  • Manage the SAP system (PM/MM modules): ensure accurate updates, compliance, and effective utilization in maintenance operations.

  • Control the maintenance budget, track materials and spare parts inventory to ensure readiness for technical incidents.

  • Provide guidance and training for technicians on mechanical repair procedures, safety practices, and positive work attitude.

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, suppliers, and service contractors to ensure job progress and quality.

  • Perform safety supervision duties at the team leader level, complying with all regulations related to safety, health, environment, and energy.

  • Participate in productivity improvement initiatives and internal company programs as per company policies.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

3/ Required Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Engineer in Mechanical Engineering or related technical disciplines

  • Good English communication skills (required)

  • Hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment at petrochemical, chemical, or heavy industry plants

  • Ability to read P&ID and mechanical cross-section drawings

  • Proficient in SAP (PM/MM modules), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office

  • Strong analytical, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
