Material Management Manager
Location: Bac Ninh

*Responsibilities:

  • Directs the accurate and timely update of the SAP MPS/MRP system to support weekly and daily production and supply chain scheduling.
  • Inventory levels monitoring, pro-activity in solutions to minimize inventory
  • Manages the capacity plans and identifies out of balance line capacity. Recommends adjustments to insure optimal throughput and cost efficiencies.
  • Manages the weekly and daily dispatch schedule, and maintains priorities to achieve 100% customer on-time deliveries, and production throughput efficiencies.
  • Leads material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control activity to ensure efficient material movement, storage, and accurate inventory records.
  • Monitors program launches, and product changes. Implements countermeasures and adjusts planning systems to avoid any line down.
  • Customs declaration. Manages import and export logistics to comply with local rules and regulation.
  • Transportation & Shipping management. Cost control of the logistics operations.
  • Develops materials planning staff to insure maximum team work, and technical capability in executing daily planning and control responsibilities.
  • Sourcing:

+ Support Program Sourcing Team, Commodity Sourcing Team and IDM Sourcing Team in VN.

+ Participate in project team to ensure project progress is being properly managed in the areas of ESI, NPI and material availability.

+ Transfer smoothly sourcing activities from NPI, ramp up to mass production.

+ Implement supply base benchmarking based on principle of total cost of ownership, regular assessment and review of suppliers' performance.

+ Develop effective supply chain strategy and drive for cost savings to meet the VN business growth;

+ Monitor suppliers' performance and evaluate the reliability of the suppliers, products quality, on-time delivery and technology.

+ Achieve price reduction targets by proactive development and implementation of price reduction strategies.

+ Comply with the company sourcing policies and code of conducts.

+ Assist SCM head to drive and sustain continuous improvements in SCM processes.

*Responsibilities:
  • A working knowledge of high volume manufacturing operations, warehouse shipping and receiving, ERP planning systems, strong mathematical and analysis skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin are required
  • B.S. degree in Business Operations Management, industrial engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Ten (10) years of related materials management experience and achievement
