ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and control pattern team
- Assist the Sample Room Department in developing and improve the new production techniques and methods
- Making patterns on computers with software Optitex, Lectra
- Work with customers to provide suggestions in order to improve fit and quality through pattern-related adjustments.
- Develop new patterns based on customer requirements/ comments to ensure quality, production efficiency and materials utilization.
- Implement necessary changes to the patterns based on customer feedback if any
- Sample Fitting: approve sample fitting before samples are submitted to the customer to ensure that the fitting is in accordance with customer requirements.
- Coordinate with related team to realize style information, fit preferences, and pattern requirements to meet customer satisfaction with the Factory’s samples and bulk garments.
- Create the pattern plan to ensure for bulk production needs and allocate patterns to Pattern Team to make sure that patterns are made according to quality and timeliness requirements.
- Be in charge in training to Pattern Team to provide them with professional and necessary knowledge and information in making cut patterns.
- Informs related department of any changes made to the patterns to ensure pattern consistency in the process of bulk production
- Check randomly cut patterns made by the pattern technicians to ensure the compliance to requirements, quality and materials utilization of the cut patterns.
- Work with another department to ensure made- patterns to satisfy the quality standards and grading scales. Then improving the patterns to satisfy the standards when necessary.
- Review and discuss with customers on any comments related to fitting, size specifications and style. Provide suggestions to customers to improve the garments if have
- Attend pre-production meetings to introduce the style and collect any feedback ( if any) before bulk production
- Report back to the Production Director.
a. Education background & knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Garment.
- Having experience in pattern maker
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design models.
- Experience with measuring, snipping, milling, and cutting tools..
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Intermediate level at English (verbal and written communication skills)
- Be honest, careful and responsible
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
- Good mathematical and analytical aptitude.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
