RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Marketplace Operations:

  • Oversee daily marketplace operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all aspects, including commerce, seller and brand management, and promotional activities.

  • Monitor marketplace performance metrics, analyze KPIs, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

2. Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for marketplace growth and optimization.

  • Identify key growth drivers and leverage them to drive marketplace expansion.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute campaigns and promotions.

3. Process Management & Optimization:

  • Manage end-to-end marketplace operations, optimizing current processes for efficiency.

  • Regularly review and update operational workflows and procedures to enhance performance.

4. Training & Development:

  • Provide training and ongoing support to marketplace team members and stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement training materials and programs to improve team capabilities.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

5. Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the main point of contact for client stakeholders, understanding their needs and requirements.

  • Collaborate with clients to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies.

  • Lead and manage a team of 3 specialists: Store Operations & Customer Service, Performance Marketing, and Graphic Design.

6. Financial & Resource Management:

  • Manage project P&L through MME, ensuring forecast accuracy, timely billings, and financial tracking.

  • Ensure marketplace operations are efficient, meeting all SLAs and performance targets.

  • Oversee talent acquisition, including scouting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.

7. Marketplace Ecosystem & Tools:

  • Stay up to date on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the marketplace sector.

  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance marketplace operations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key marketplace partners and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/technical field or business management.

  • Minimum 5 years in digital commerce, digital sales, or offline sales & marketing.

  • Experience in channel sales (digital preferred), channel marketing, and sales/campaign planning.

  • Strong analytical skills; proficient in MS Excel or similar tools for data analysis.

  • Deep understanding of marketplace operations (e.g., Lazada, Shopee) across key SEA markets.

  • Strong communication skills (fluent in English).

  • Familiarity with sales & marketing in Consumer Goods/Consumer Durables sectors.

  • Awareness of the latest trends in digital commerce and marketing.
