Planning & Logistics Manager

Job Description:
Planning
- Control order and Forecast from Sales
- Control calculation of right materials usage, material plan and material stock for production
- Control production plan and finish goods (FGs), stock plan for delivery
- Control productivity, output and machines utilization
- Control FGs and material stock following KPIs
- Co-ordinate with all Departments., ensure DOT 100% every day
- Control the MO outstanding, stock of FGs and RMs level as KPIs requirement
- To control FGs on process are under lead time (minimize WIP)
- Control scrap in production and every MOs efficiency, MO issue on time, correct quantity
Purchasing
- To ensure that the company is procuring goods, raw materials or services at a cheapest price, with good Quality, deliveries and services.
- Evaluate and assessment the suppliers as requirement.
- To make sound and prudent judgment prior to each purchase so as to safeguard the interests of the company,
- To recommend new sources of supply to achieve cost-competitiveness, cost down program
- In case of emergency, Planning & Logistics Manager arrange staff to inform to suppliers to support to provide materials in short-time to meet production plan and delivery plan. In other case, need to cooperate with other operations in group to get necessary support.
Warehouse
- Oversee to manage and control the warehousing activities and deliveries functions in the company,
- To ensure correctness of stock inventories for FGs/materials
- To ensure procedures and regulations in the store are followed,
- To implement initiatives in order that Department's goals and company's objectives can be met.
- To do random check or check together with store officer for material/FGs input & output, purchased parts/items & others.
Job Requirement:
- University degree in related field.
- Good integrity
- Have experience in management at manufacturing company more than 5 years
- Have strategy view-point and long term plan mindset
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong leadership and result oriented.
- Good verbal, presentation, negotiation and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under high pressure
- Have knowledge in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is advantage
- Good communication in English
