Plant Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities
Primary Functions
• To manage the Plant Maintenance Department to meet organization’s goals and objectives.
• To optimize the use of resources to achieve higher productivity and quality at optimal cost.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Overall, in charge of Plant Maintenance Department.
2. Develop a comprehensive maintenance system to ensure that the plant & equipment operate long term.
3. Draft and maintain guidelines for physical operation of all facilities.
4. Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance carried out for all plant equipment and facilities.
5. Keep track and update maintenance data and records for all plant equipment and facilities.
6. Ensure that work activities are complying to all risk control measures and adhere to safe work procedure according to Work Safety Health (Risk Management) requirements.
7. Manage facility waste and energy consumption.
8. Monitor efficiency of plant equipment and propose improvement plan.
9. Management of contracts like security, cleaner and landscape contractor in terms of job, service and repair work.
10. Part of Management team to improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities like process & procedure improvements to optimize results.
11. Daily maintenance team manpower planning and allocation.
12. Manage significant EHS risks, actual or potential of their work activities and report to management on EHS concerns, incident and accidents that arise
