KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and modify product to achieve maximum profitability
- Maintain product portfolio to ensure its competitiveness and profitability
- Continuously evaluating product portfolio, perform post-mortem, find optimal balance of the product portfolio
- Monitor marketplace to ensure product portfolio is well balanced and competitive
- Identify and develop new opportunities for product development
- Manage product pricing, identify new pricing opportunities and work closely with finance ensuring maximum profitability per product with sensitivity analysis and scenario analysis
- Tightly work with sales and marketing to deliver seamless proposition for customers
- Produce the business case (feasibility study) for product initiative for approval / prioritisation to show how it will be positioned, how it is expected to perform, its fit with business strategy, client and channel strategies.
- Produce/input to project/development plan, specifying goals, project phases, timescales and resource implications in order to obtain sign off from key players
- Use structured project management to manage the development in detail, carrying out regular reviews, identifying and resolving problems in order to meet goals and milestones
- Monitor, manage and report on the performance of products against P&L goals, client and customer expectations, driving recommendations for continual improvement
- Share learning & provide advice / guidance on product areas
- Maintain appropriate and up-to-date contingency plans to ensure continuity of operations as indicated by the business continuity planning framework
- Other tasks as assigned by manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in Insurance product development in Financial Services industry (Insurance, Insurtech, etc.), preferably via Digital Channel
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
- Able to work under pressure
