KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and implement the design, development and delivery of approved projects/ programs, including: analyzing project requirements, planning product development; controlling, monitoring project progress, ensuring the project is completed on schedule, guiding compliance with the process and regulations during project implementation.
- Project manage complex and large-scale cross-team, cross-functional initiatives. Interface with engineering managers and engineers to estimate work efforts, define milestones and manage resources.
- Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to management and project stakeholders. Engage the project teams to achieve goals.
- Gather data/metrics and observations to identify obstacles and drive for improvement. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities. Drive results proactively.
- Help manage the cross-functional strategic planning and business planning process, leading conversations with key stakeholders to develop concepts for strategic initiatives and developing those into detailed program/ project plans (including roadmaps, funding planning, resource planning etc).
- Implement improvements to the technical project management process. Share program/project process frameworks, tools, and best practices that can be adopted throughout the organization.
- Responsible for managing business aspects of engineering, including managing 3rd party software and human vendors.
- Communicate effectively with engineering managers and other stakeholders
- Integrate activities through identifying and managing interdependencies to ensure projects are well aligned;
- Identify, manage, and control financial and operational risks and issues that affect the project/ program under management;
- Conduct project reporting, ensure that the change management and control processes comply with the project management standards and procedures of Project Management Office.
- Assure project quality.
REQUIREMENTS
A. Qualifications & Working expericence
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in IT, Project Management or related fields.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in the E-commerce/ Digital Business industries
- A minimum of 2 year's experience in a supervisory position may be advantageous.
- Advanced Technical Project management experience is required
B. Skills & Personal Attributes
- Familiar with both SLDC methodologies like Agile or SCRUM and able to apply them pragmatically and as best suited. (Prefer candidates with experience in managing Web, Native App, CMS projects)
- Familiarity with Project management tools and processes.
- Candidates with certification in Scrum/ Agile project management are preferred.
- Ability to read and write English well.
- Good presentation, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Good communicator with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills.
