PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure disciplined use of the company’s project management tools and methodology in product development process (including training and education as needed throughout Company)
  • Establish collaborative partnership with marketing Project Leaders and reinforce business goals with Platform teams
  • Develop and manage project topline reports, timelines and tasks
  • Track & control project progress, holding cross functional team members accountable for tasks & timelines
  • Ensure effective project team meetings including scheduling, gathering of data/input, decision making, task assignment and reporting meeting minutes
  • Lead problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Lead risk assessment and contingency planning; avoid roadblocks by monitoring and highlighting project risks and opportunities throughout planning and execution of the projects
  • Ensure that project status, progress, issues, risks and contingency plans are clearly and appropriately disseminated throughout the project teams and with other key stakeholders
  • Escalate resource constraints, timeline compression or other obstacles through Manger of Project Management to VP
  • Drive the collaborative-based development process between marketing, product development and product engineering to maximize Global Product alignment
  • Continuously partner with Project Leaders to report project progress, issues, roadblocks, and key milestones to cross functional teams as needed.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree (concentrated in Project Management preferred) or 7-10 years’ work experience managing complex projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience applying project management tools and methodology.
  • Strong knowledge of  and experienced applying project management tools and methodology
  • Proficient in software including MS Office Project, Word, Excel, SharePoint and Power Point
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risk, opportunity, problem-solve and plan contingencies
  • Broad business acumen – understanding of cross functional groups involved in new product development process
  • Clear and consistent communication and influence skills, including the ability to influence without authority
  • Consistently strong history of business results and accomplishment
  • English fluently communication is a must
