1. JOB OVERVIEW
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to execution and coordination of both technical and managerial aspects. This role involves managing projects from start to finish, including hiring subcontractors and liaising with vendors. The Project Manager ensures that all projects are carried out efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with relevant regulations, including handling contract management, quality assurance, securing necessary permits, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Health & Safety Management for Capital Projects

Ensure the adequate supply of skilled labor and resources from contractors.

Work closely with the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) team to maintain safety on the project site.

Develop and implement safety plans and conduct regular site safety checks.

Investigate accidents and enforce corrective measures.
Result: Reduced preventable accidents and compliance with safety standards.
Strategic Project Planning in Line with Factory Goals

Collaborate with management to align project objectives with business outcomes.

Create a project roadmap that focuses on enhancing factory infrastructure.

Coordinate with consultants and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
Result: A clear, strategic project roadmap that aligns with the factory’s operational goals.
Project Development, Execution, and Monitoring

Conduct feasibility assessments and define project scope.

Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines and milestones.

Oversee all project stages, ensuring progress from planning to execution, including managing timelines, budget, and quality.

Infrastructure Maintenance and Enhancement

Regularly assess and plan for necessary maintenance or improvements to the factory infrastructure.

Ensure that maintenance activities are conducted without disrupting factory operations.

Stakeholder Engagement

Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to align project goals and gather feedback.

Experience handling permits and working with regulatory bodies.

Proficient in leading projects from Request for Proposal (RFP) to execution.
