COMPANY BRIEF
  • Our client, a prestigious global leader in luxury furniture and lifestyle, is looking for a Senior QA working independently in Vietnam.

ROLE OVERVIEW
  • The role will be responsible for overseeing the inspection and quality assurance processes within company’s production facilities in Vietnam. 
  • This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in quality management, particularly in the furniture industry. 
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control methodologies and a passion for maintaining excellence in product quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • ⁠Implement quality assurance and procedures for sofa production. 
  • ⁠Perform 100% inspections at responsible workshops or suppliers, including photo documentation and preparation of inspection reports as needed. 
  • ⁠Conduct regular audits and inspections of the production line to identify and address quality issues. 
  • ⁠Collaborate with production and engineering teams to develop and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • ⁠Analyze quality data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. 
  • ⁠Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance activities and inspection results. 
  • ⁠Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. 
  • ⁠Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, regarding quality concerns and resolutions. 
  • Collaborate with engineers to verify engineering changes and implementations at workshops. 
  • ⁠Monitor key processes defined by engineers for critical items at workshops. 
  • ⁠Conduct stock re-inspections as requested. 
  • Accompany customer quality control (QC) staff for on-site inspections, communicate with workshops regarding any issues found, and work with Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) to implement corrective and preventive actions. 
  • ⁠Conduct open carton audits for key customers before shipment, prepare inspection reports, and document findings with photos. 
  • ⁠Monitor container loading as needed to ensure product integrity during shipment. 

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
Must
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using QC 7 tools.
  • Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • ⁠High level of integrity, strong work ethic, team-oriented, self-motivated, honest, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
  • ⁠Adaptable and willing to travel frequently as required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with an in-depth understanding of furniture structures and international quality standards. 
  • Practical knowledge of onsite factory manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Prefer
  • Professional fabric, leather, metal, marble material knowledge is preferred 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 
Must 
  • College graduate with at least 7~10 years’ experience in manufacturing industry such as furniture, Garment, … in quality engineering role. 
  • Able to read CAD drawings. 
  • Able to communicate with English email.
  • Cantonese/Mandarin is essential.
Prefer 
  • Graduate from Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Industrial Engineering. 
  • Proficiency in English is a plus.
