KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define & evolve test strategy: create Test Plans, coverage KPIs and risk matrices; embed quality gates in the CI/CD pipeline to ensure every build is automatically verified.
- Lead & mentor the QA team: allocate work, review automation code, coach junior engineers and promote best-practice sharing.
- Hands-on testing & automation: design, run and debug functional, regression, API, performance and security test suites using Selenium/Webdriver-IO, REST-assured, JMeter, etc.
- Agile collaboration: join backlog refinement, acceptance-criteria definition and sprint ceremonies; act as the quality voice with Product Owners, BAs and developers.
- Quality analytics & continuous improvement: track defect trends, perform root-cause analysis and drive preventive actions across squads.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience:
- 6+ years in software testing (manual & automation)
- 2+ years leading or managing a QA/SDET team
- Technical skills:
- Hands-on with Selenium/WebDriver-IO, REST-assured (or similar), and BDD tools (Cucumber/SpecFlow)
- Solid SQL for data validation
- Familiar with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins
- Able to run performance tests using JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent
- Methodologies:
- Deep understanding of Agile-Scrum and DevOps practices
- Comfortable embedding automated quality gates early in the delivery pipeline
- Language: Fluent in English for daily collaboration with global stakeholders
- Soft skills:
- Proven team-leadership and coaching abilities
- Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical thinking and root-cause problem-solving
