Key responsibilities:
  • Quality process control
    • Ensure quality standards in the production by regular product & process audits
    • Assure scrap area are organized and scrapping process is followed
    • Evaluate failure parts and conduct improvement activity
    • Support failure analyses activity in corporation with coordinator
    • Evaluate risk and propose control method to optimize Control Plan and Inspection Plan
    • Assure inspection plan are effectively implemented
    • Prepare yearly plan and finish them in defined plan
    • Lead quality improvement activities to improve Machine capability.
    • Create plan and conduct measurement system for visual checking operators in production lines
  • Projects running in Segment
    • Manage quality engineers and quality inspectors to assure the availability of quality standards in process.
    • Manage 100% checking after assembly process for new project.
    • Follow up Line challenge action plan in case new line running or customer complaint
    • Identify best practices from Global & implement in Vietnam plant
    • Give strong support to all lines for Quality topics
    • Advise measuring adjustment and ensure suitable measuring equipment using
  • Quality management and team management
    • Manage quality of line and proactively maintain Quality System in process to achieve Quality KPls
    • Establish training plan for quality engineers and quality inspectors and make sure training effectively implemented
    • Drive quality cost saving in the company
    • Build up Quality network to have benchmarking and best practices to apply in the company
  • Quality system and audit
    • Audit involved for ISO 9001 &IATF 16949, process audit, transfer & customer's audit…
    • Input data from Quality of production line for monthly report
    • Do 5whys analysis and finish corrective actions as planned
    • Analyze weaknesses (SWOT) of quality system and improve them through day by day activities
    • Support quality program and other activities
  • Customer complaint and internal complaint
    • React fast and appropriately do root cause and actions to customer complaints
    • Implement countermeasures and make sure failure analyses, control plans, inspection plans updated
    • Be responsible for Intercompany complaint (SAP booking, 8D evaluation)
  • In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his supervisor that are essentially related to his duties.
What distinguishes you:
  • Bachelor degree-technical background. Mechanical engineering is most preferable.
  • 10 year experience in area of production quality, quality planning and quality system, customer complaint handling.
  • Knowledge and experience in 5 core tools, QC tools and 5S tool
  • Quality awareness - ISO 9001/ IATF 16949/ Internal auditor IATF 16949
  • Proficient English, good communication and reporting skills
  • Good computer skills especially MS-Office (advanced excel)
  • Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
  • Being diligent, careful and honest, team working, systematic and logical approach
