Objectives:
The Quality Manager is an employee who leads and organizes a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Supervisors. He/She is responsible to ensure that the Quality Engineers perform the issue and the follow up of the quality documentation of the projects of the Energy Sector from the award of the orders to the provisional acceptance of the equipment in compliance with contractual requirements, applicable codes and norms, local regulations and internal standards taking an important part in the Design Process a defined in the QMS (quality management system) of the Energy Sector.

• Coordination of possible Third Parties (AI, NoBo…) involved in the projects
• Coordination of possible legal registrations (National Board for instance),
• Coordination of the qualification process of new Suppliers with the Purchasing department,
• Technical risks assessments,
• Application of internal standards and good practices,
• Promotion and implementation of continuous improvement.
• Deployment of the group strategy to the department he/she is responsible for,
• Promotion of quality, efficiency and productivity to meet business objectives,
• Definition of personnel’s objectives and their monitoring,
• Evaluation of personnel’s performances.
• Management of time control, current and forecasted workloads and employment plan.

Job Requirements:
• Must be available for temporary missions, sometimes on short notice, including international travel.
• His/her technical skills are:
o Analysis of contractual requirements in regards with internal standards (mainly ASME, EN and ISO codes)
o Understanding of international codes and norms
o Understanding of international regulations for company’s products
o Knowledge on steel material properties
o Knowledge of welding processes
o Knowledge of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)
o Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
o Application of internal technical choices
o Understanding of his professional environment
o Understanding of product and organization interfaces
o Fluent in English (reading, speaking, listening)
