Job Discription:
1. Lead product development and engineering work for Asian and global markets through a Stage
Gate process. Finalize product concepts, prepare technical specification sheets, product test plans,
cost analysis, conduct product tests, lead their certificatio n processes and update internal test
standards. You will facilitate meetings, prepare documents, plan engineering related tasks, and
achieve milestones. Review and prepare drawings of 2D, 3D drawings.
2. Test our new products and competitor products to rep
ort competitive analysis. Conduct cost
benchmarking studies to reduce our product cost
3. Provide timely support to the commercial team about product information inquiries and quality
complaints
4. Lead advanced technology development. Create product pipel
ines and technology road map
through a deep understanding of customer needs/pain points and technical trends
5. Lead new product development collaboration projects with suppliers. You will work with our
procurement team and manufacturing facilities.
Requirements:
✓ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
✓ Minimum 8 years’ experience of product development
✓ Fluent in English; Chinese communication skill will be preferred
✓ Understanding of the Stage Gate process
✓ 2D, 3D drawings capabilities, FMEA, root cause analysis
✓ Positive mindsets to seek change and embrace the challenges without fear of failure even in the ambiguous situation.
Preferred:
✓ Professional experience in the fittings space or similar industries will be greatly preferred.
✓ Understanding of agile methodologies
✓ Passion to lead global business by working with people from different backgrounds and to support the team with the ownership mindset to solve problems by herself/himself.
✓ Communication and relationship building – ability to work globally with all levels within the company and across functional boundaries and build trust with internal stakeholders, external partners, and colleagues.
✓ Willingness to use new digital tools as well as strong skills of traditional tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
