Job Purpose

As a Sales Supervisor, you will lead the development and execution of sales strategies for a specific industrial sector, coordinating regional sales activities and identifying market opportunities. You will act as the technical and commercial point of reference for Bonfiglioli’s product lines, including motors, gearboxes, and inverters. Your role is key in aligning sales initiatives with the sector strategy, driving business growth, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Intelligence

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive movements.

  • Identify new business opportunities including untapped geographical markets, applications, or key accounts.

  • Propose strategic recommendations to enhance market positioning.

2. Sales Planning

  • Develop and coordinate global and regional sales plans aligned with sector objectives.

  • Collaborate with Local Sales and Sales Development teams to ensure target achievement in revenues and market share.

  • Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to meet KPIs.

3. Sales Processes & Tools

  • Analyze sales processes globally to identify areas for improvement.

  • Coordinate with Legal and Sales Development to implement harmonized sales models and documentation platforms.

  • Promote best practice sharing across regions and support technical and financial proposal development in collaboration with Sales Engineers.

4. Go-to-Market Execution

  • Act as the sector’s commercial reference, providing in-depth product and application knowledge.

  • Co-develop technical proposals with R&D and Sales Engineers to meet customer-specific needs.

  • Recommend new product developments based on evolving market demands in collaboration with Product Marketing.

  • Ensure product portfolios align with local needs and global strategies.

5. Marketing & Customer Engagement

  • Partner with Product Marketing to define and execute communication, promotional, and customer training plans.

  • Participate in key customer interactions and technical discussions to reinforce Bonfiglioli’s value proposition.


Local Sales Support Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate technical product benefits to clients, showcasing competitive advantages.

  • Advise customers on optimal product usage and application.

  • Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to customize solutions for clients.

  • Promote and sell Bonfiglioli’s full product range, including motors, gearboxes, and inverters.

  • Ensure timely execution of sales contracts, order processing, payment collection, and issue resolution.

  • Adhere to internal reporting standards and sales compliance requirements.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical/electromechanical products.

  • Excellent communication, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities.

  • Willingness to travel as needed across regions.
