Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:
  • Accounting
  • Payroll calculation monthly.
  • Play key role in monthly payment to suppliers and sub-constructors, conduct bank transactions, bank reconciliation and posting journal entries in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile and track general ledger accounts and resolve any resulting discrepancies.
  • Support for month-end and year-end closing process and reports of all entities, ensure to meet the deadlines.
  • Tax
  • Support for tax declaration, tax finalization, VAT refund, tax audit and update tax regulation, provide guideline and recommendation for tax saving, avoid tax risk.
  • Support for Transfer pricing reports.
  • Correspond with external auditor, tax officers and other agencies upon request.
  • Others
  • Ability to flexibly handle multiple tasks arising from the new projects opening.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve processes and compliance.
  • Work closely with the Administrative staff.
  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor, GA Manager and General Manager.Manager and GA Manager.
Requirements:
  • Education
  • University degree in accounting major (prefer Academy of Finance and National Economic University).
  • Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience in accounting and tax in international companies (prefer working in Japanese companies or consulting firms).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Ability to accurately and fully implement multiple tasks.
  • Skills
  • Language: English (IELTS score of 6.0 or above, or equivalent) (Japanese would be extra point).
  • Strong business ethic and communication skills.
  • Honesty, responsibility and a resilient mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
