Job Purpose:
As a Senior Costing, your jobs include preparing costing report and analysis related to the costing and Gross Profit. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Vietnam and Group regulations related to job costing and accounting, managing documentation, and coordinating with related department to meet for EPE requirements of inventory management too. Your attention to detail and knowledge of costing and analysis will contribute to the efficiency of Accounting and Finance department.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Senior Costing Accountant collaborates with other accountants and financial staff in the company to provide financial and accounting support to executives and department heads who establish goals and budgets for the organization. Their duties include:

Collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs

Record daily manufacturing accounting entries, account related reconciliations to ensuring all costs are identified and recorded accurately.

Performs data management tasks related to inventory and job costing in ERP software.

Reviews cost and variances between standard/budget and actual cost; researching significant variations and recommending appropriate response.

Prepares daily operating performance analysis; including inventory movements, sales, and cost of goods sold, to identify significant issues in a timely.

Reviews new BOMs, active role in costing new products or any BOM updated to cost of product accuracy.

Performs monthly inventory valuation and reconciliation of cost ledgers.

Prepares and monitors operating forecasts based on budgets. Review significant variations and analyze operating impact.

Establishes labor and overhead rates in line with operating budgets and setting standard costs of manufactured goods.

Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) and Gross Profit analysis.

Developing and analyzing cost standards.

Assist modify to apply the procedure to manage manufacturing cost such as raw material, labor, overhead, etc.

Performs annual cost roll and inventory revaluation. Works with supply chain and production management to enhance accuracy of cost components.

Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit.

Participate in performing asset and inventory counts according to the Company's schedule.

Assist other employees with information and/or analysis when requested.

Required Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cost accountant in manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of accounting principles.

Excellent working knowledge of computer software including Excel and costing and related function in ERP systems.
