ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Being part of the VN Software Development department of US robotics warehouse automation companys to build a Center of Excellence in Robotics, Simulation, AI & UI/UX
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end user experience design process for our enterprise-level software applications.
  • Lead and execute user research activities, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing (both remote and on-site), and contextual inquiry, to gather deep insights into user needs and behaviors within complex robotics and automation environments.
  • Analyze research data and synthesize findings into actionable insights, user personas, journey maps, and other relevant UX artifacts to inform design decisions.
  • Translate complex system requirements and technical specifications into clear and intuitive user flows, wireframes, and prototypes (low-fidelity and high-fidelity) for various platforms.
  • Facilitate collaborative design workshops and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to explore design solutions and align on user experience goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed design specifications, interaction guidelines, and UI patterns to ensure consistency and quality across our product suite.
  • Advocate for strong information architecture, defining logical navigation, labeling, and organization of content to optimize user findability and task completion.
  • Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from users, stakeholders, and other designers through design critiques and iterative design processes.
  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of our design system, ensuring its scalability, usability, and adoption across product teams.
  • Present design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders and executives, clearly articulating the user needs and business value behind design decisions.
  • Work closely with development teams throughout the agile development lifecycle to ensure design intent is accurately implemented and to address any usability concerns.
  • Utilize data visualization best practices to present complex information in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Stay abreast of the latest UX/UI trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively share knowledge and insights with the team.
  • Potentially mentor and guide junior UX designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented design culture.
  • And perform similar duties as he deems fit for the proper execution of his duties and duties as delegated by the direct manager or the Employer.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in a design-related field such as Interaction Design, User Experience Design, User Interface Design, Human Factors, Environmental Research, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong emphasis on creating clean, modern interfaces. We're specifically looking for someone who brings a modern, minimalist design sensibility—more in line with sleek, consumer-grade startup products than traditional enterprise software. Your mission will be to reimagine outdated, cluttered UIs and transform them into intuitive, clean, and elegant experiences that feel as polished and user-friendly as the best B2C web apps.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and visual) with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in data visualization principles and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals of varying personalities and across different teams, including product management, engineering, and customer-facing roles.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong ability to learn quickly and independently, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced agile environment with cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Extensive experience with a wide range of user research methodologies, data collection techniques, and reporting methods, including both remote and on-site research and discovery.
  • Proven ability to translate complex and often ambiguous requirements into clear, intuitive, and extensible user experiences through sketches, whiteboarding, and collaborative brainstorming.
  • A strong track record of effectively soliciting and synthesizing feedback from various sources, including potentially divergent viewpoints, to arrive at successful and user-centered design solutions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and a thoughtful designer with comfort and confidence in presenting design work to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Prior experience in creating, organizing, managing, and/or successfully socializing design systems within an organization.
  • A strong advocate for and creator of effective information architecture, with the ability to define user flows and create artifacts that proactively identify potential usability roadblocks early in the design process.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping software such as Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
