Job Duties:
- Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulatory requirements while working & Ensure to promote a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
- Ensure 100% adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for solar operation & Maintenance. Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and testing of system components, including PV panels, inverters, mounting structures, electrical connections, and monitoring equipment. Replace faulty or underperforming components as necessary.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in solar systems, including electrical faults, equipment malfunctions, and performance inefficiencies. Utilize appropriate tools and testing equipment to identify and resolve problems promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspection reports, maintenance logs, repair records, and spare parts inventory. Prepare comprehensive reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues encountered. Communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Carry out Preventive Maintenance activities for PV Solar Plant/s and EHV lines
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions, electrical faults, and equipment failures.
- Work with sub-contractors deployed at site for various activities e.g. but not limited to, O&M, Module Cleaning, Vegetation abatement, Security etc. and get the work done from them as per the contractual scope and deliverables.
- Respond to any emergency conditions at site and report the same to the Reporting Officer as and when such incident takes place at the site
- Participate in implementing all initiatives related to EH&S, performance improvement, cost optimization
Job Requirements:
- Overall experience of 3+ years into Solar
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Solar Operation & Maintenance
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering
- Prior experience in solar system maintenance, operation is highly desirable
- Electrical License holder is highly preferable.
- Strong knowledge in safety protocols and certifications (Electrical License) specific to solar operations & Maintenance, including electrical safety, working at heights, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Strong knowledge on both AC & DC electrical trouble shooting.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, including AC and DC circuits, transformers, and switchgear
- Fluency Vietnamese languages/ English is added advantage
- Ability to travel to different project sites within Vietnam as required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues in solar systems. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Candidate should possess Good General Health, eyesight, and free from fear of height (alti-phobia). Candidate should be able to distinguish colors
- Fluency in Using Computers Applications
- Performing plant preventive maintenance & trouble shooting within time.
